Rich Welcher Obituary Sheboygan WI and Death | Richard Welcher

The community mourns the loss of Rich Welcher, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who was taken from us too soon. Rich was a devoted family man whose love and kindness left a lasting impact on those who knew him. His passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his loved ones and the Sheboygan community.

Rich is survived by his loving wife, Danielle Sohre Welcher, and their cherished children, Anna and Abram. He was a man who brought warmth and joy to every room he entered, known for his kindness, humor, and unwavering support for his family and friends.

To honor Rich’s memory and support his family during this difficult time, a fundraiser has been organized at Water Street Pub on Saturday, April 5th, from 2 PM to close. All donations and 100% of tips collected will go directly to helping his family cover funeral expenses. The community’s support is deeply appreciated as they navigate this profound loss.

Heartfelt tributes have poured in, reflecting the love and admiration Rich inspired in so many. Lisa Montazella expressed, “Danielle – I am so heartbroken to hear this. Please know you, Anna, and Abram are in our thoughts and prayers. Please reach out if you need anything at all.”

Dianne Pietenpol shared, “My deepest sympathies, Danielle. My heart breaks for you. Just know that we are all here for you. Hugs, love, and lots of prayers for the family. If there is anything you need, please let us know.”

Jennifer d’Auvergne also remembered Rich fondly, saying, “Oh Dani, I’m so very sorry to hear this. He was your forever person and soulmate, an amazing grandfather, and a great friend. I will miss him and our summer she-shed nights. He always brought so much laughter and fun and was such a caring guy. I’m always here for you if you need anything at all.”

Rich’s legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find comfort in the support of those who cared for him.
